Start with the weight
The carrying capacity is determined by the number of blocks beneath the vessel. As a rule of thumb, the dock should be able to support the vessel's full weight with a good margin, so it remains stable even with people on board.
Always base your calculation on dry weight plus fuel, equipment, and an adult person on the platform.
Choose configuration based on use
A classic drive-on dock with roller strips makes it easy to drive on under your own power. If the dock is also to be used as a recreational platform, simply add extra blocks to the side.
The modularity means you can start small and expand later – the blocks lock together and can be reconfigured.
Consider placement from the start
Current, wave impact, and water level variations determine the anchoring. For exposed locations, we recommend additional mooring points and possibly a wave-damping edge.
