The MDOCK System

Build the floating facility you need

MDOCK is a flexible modular system that can be configured to suit your project. Create robust floating bridges, bathing facilities, work platforms and special solutions that can be expanded and adapted as needs change.

This is how the system is designed

Four principles that make the system flexible

  • Blocks as building blocks

The entire system is based on one principle: a floating HDPE block. Blocks are available in different types — standard, double, low, ramps, service, and wheel blocks — and are connected to form the exact shape your facility requires.

  • Module over goal-specific

Because the system is assembled from modules of fixed dimensions (typically 500x500 and 1000x500 mm), you can build anything from a single jet ski dock to an entire marina — and expand later without rebuilding.

  • Buoyancy in the block itself

Each block is a sealed, air-filled chamber that provides buoyancy. The number of blocks determines the load capacity, so the dock is dimensioned directly according to the vessel's weight – not the other way around.

  • Floats with the water level

The system floats on the water and follows the tides and water levels. It is moored to a bridge, pile, quay, or seabed — no casting or excavation is required.

How to build an MDOCK system

  1. 01 Calculate needs The vessel's weight and dimensions, as well as water depth and location, determine the number of blocks, the dock's shape, and the mooring method.
  2. 02 Assemble blocks Blocks are locked together with bolts and couplings into one rigid surface. Assembly takes place on land or directly on the water.
  3. 03 Install accessories Ramps, rollers, fenders, mooring rings, handrails, and steps are mounted in the system's fixed holes — no on-site adaptation.
  4. 04 Mooring and use The facility is moored, and the vessel is driven onto the dock under its own power. If the facility needs to be moved or expanded, the blocks are simply disconnected and reconnected.

Material & lifespan

Built for Nordic waters year-round

  • HDPE that tolerates water

Blocks are molded in UV-stabilized HDPE, which does not rust, rot or need painting. The material tolerates salt water, fresh water, ice and direct sun.

  • Year-round facility

The system can remain installed year-round in most places — or be quickly removed and stored, because it consists of individual modules.

  • Maintenance-free

No impregnation, no rust treatment. If a single block is damaged, only that block is replaced instead of the entire structure.

  • Reusable

HDPE is recyclable, and the modules can be reused in a new layout if needs change or the facility is moved.
