A summer house with its own beach plot needed a safe boat mooring without excavation or concrete work. The dock was designed to the boat's dimensions and connected to the shore by a floating gangway.

The challenge

Shallow coast with a large difference between high and low tide.
Desire to be able to walk dry-shod from the terrace to the boat.
The structure should be dismantlable for winter.

The solution

Floating walkway in 500 mm wide modules from the shore to the dock.
U-shaped dock with fender modules along the sides of the boat.
All assembled with bolts, so the system can be disassembled by two people.

Berth without excavation or heavy construction requiring permits.
The dock is removed in three hours before the ice winter.
